Biography

Wojtek is an Adjunct Professor of Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD, where he focuses on experiential leadership development work. He regularly serves on the faculty and coaching staff of open-enrolment and company-specific programmes for high potentials and senior executives across INSEAD’s three campuses.

Wojtek is particularly interested in how people grow as leaders in an increasingly complex and uncertain world, where technology continues to disrupt and enhance traditional forms of human interaction. He is dedicated to helping develop productive and responsible leaders that can rise to the challenges of such a world. His background in leading digital startups, management consulting, and academia gives him a unique set of experiences as he works with leaders.

After joining a fast-growing digital business in Central Europe in the early 2000s, Wojtek led teams in online financial services across different countries. This experience informed his doctoral research, which focused on how technology affects the development of trust in digital contexts and earned him a PhD. He then put his executive experience and research insights to work as an innovation consultant, working with global clients facing digital disruption.

In his leadership development practice, Wojtek continues to bring together the disciplines of organisational behaviour, strategy, and design. Specifically, he employs an approach to organisational change that combines the design principles of prototyping with systems psychodynamic theory and practice, helping clients work with the human pressures and choices involved in strategic transformations. In his coaching practice he works with individuals facing disruption in their professional and personal lives and helps them think and act with more clarity.

Wojtek received his PhD from the Lodz Polytechnic in Poland, and his MBA from INSEAD. He has trained in transactional analysis, group relations, and holds an ICF coaching certificate. He is a frequent participant in group relations conferences around the world. He has lived and worked in six different countries, has a double Polish and Australian nationality and lives in France with his wife and two daughters.
