The programme design itself was powerful. Rather than treating leadership as a set of tools, it explored leadership through identity, relationships, personal narratives, and influence.

Ivan Kurtovic is something of an INSEAD veteran. CEO and Chairman of Croatia’s largest asset management firm, InterCapital Asset Management, Ivan holds no fewer than 18 INSEAD certifications; a function, he says, of his need to continuously navigate change. 

“The Advanced Management Programme takes you out of the workplace and gives you the chance to really stop, put away your phone, turn off emails and work on yourself as a leader and as a person. It can be exhausting – from yoga at six am to drinks with your peers in the bar till midnight! But it is worth it, and it is so important to go all in and give it your everything. For those grappling with complex decision-making, whether individually or in groups, this programme is invaluable. The integration of AI into decision-making processes makes it even more pertinent.

The course was a timely kickstarter. It made financial concepts fresh again, deepening their impact through the immersive environment and opening up new perspectives by applying them in my classmates' diverse business contexts.
