Taavet is the Chairman of Wise, which he co-founded in 2010. Prior to starting Wise, Taavet was Skype's Director of Strategy until 2008, starting as its first employee. He is also an active angel investor in Europe with 100+ investments including Bolt, Zego, Veriff, Gideon Brothers, Meatable, Farewill and many others.
