Claude Perol has had in-depth experience in the international pharma sector for more than 30 years.
He worked mainly at Sanofi in different senior positions, including:
Head of Established Products Franchise (June 2014 - December 2016)
VP Central & Eastern Europe (September 2007 - June 2014)
VP Commercial Sanofi USA (May 2005 - September 2007)
Head of Business Excellence Pharma (2000 - 2005)
Head of Generic Unit (1993 - 1999)
Health strategy Head at Elf Group (1989 - 1993)
Leader of the Hepatitis B vaccine JV in Taiwan (1984 - 1987)
In early 2017, he retired from Sanofi and created his own consulting boutique specialising in the Pharma sector.
He holds a degree in Pharmacy and an MBA from INSEAD.
He has been engaged with the INSEAD Alumni Association France (IAAF) since graduation, is involved in the organisation of Class Reunions and is a member of the Admissions Committee. In 2017, he joined the IAAF Exco as VP Career CoE and in November 2020, as Deputy Director.
